Food belongs to the basics in life. It’s what your body needs to function. It has always fascinated me. From the age of 15 I work as a cook. How beautiful are the products that nature gives us? The natural colours, all the crazy structures and lovely forms. I likes to combine nature with the manipulated, give a different shape to a natural ingredient, but also to be guided by the original forms and structures that the product already has. I consider my plates as a blank canvas that needs to be filled with all kinds of edible art. First you have to convince the eyes before the mouth wants to taste.
