Who are you and where do you come from?
I was born in the midwest, but raised in New York City. I chose culinary school over law school and never looked back. I have lived in Northern California for the past 10 years.

Where does your inspiration come from?
Everyday life, my family and the beauty of food.
How would you describe your style of cooking?
Classical French meets Contemporary American.

What is your favorite cuisine?
Anything ethnic, I especially love Korean, Japanese and Indian foods.
What is your advice to people who want to become a chef?
You have to really want it to do it.
What is your ultimate food dream?
Being in Italy eating pasta with truffles and not gaining weight!

I am not in a professional kitchen currently. I have a food blog.
Where do you see yourself in 1 year, 3 years and 5 years?
Having published my first cook book.
